Reading Rainbow Returns

Do you remember the Reading Rainbow show on PBS?  It has returned to help kids ages 3-9 discover the joy of reading – this time as an iPad app.  The Reading Rainbow app itself is free, and you’ll be able to choose one book and view some introductory videos for free.  The app requires a subscription to access the library of 150 books, 16 videos, and interactive activities.  The books come alive with narration by various celebrities, including LaVar Burton.  An automatically-renewing subscription is $9.99 a month or $29.99 for six months, and the app will be available on multiple iPads you own.  You can expect frequent updates to the book and video libraries.
